Thumbnails
A thumbnail is a small often quick sketch of an idea, the basics of the image are put into place.
Rough
Rough sketches have a bit more meat to their bones, they're bigger and more defined than their thumbnails.
Comprehensive
A comprehensive is a final product, all work has been completed on the image.
